As with any village, you don’t have to venture very far for all the essential supplies or to enjoy a nice bite out to eat.
Enjoy a peaceful day sunbathing, and when you need to cool down, have a dip in the pool, or relax on an inflateable while taking in the fantastic views.
Within a leisurely strolling distance there is the 'Meson Rural La Ermita', a small bar/restaurant which is owned and managed by a local Spanish couple. The Meson Rural has been recommended by all our guests for friendly service and excellent food. As a nice touch for their English visitors, the menu is provided in Spanish and English, giving you the option to practice your linguistic skills if you wish!
Another restaurant within walking distance is Meson Rural, Casa Lorenza which opened in May 2011, offers good food and great surroundings, well worth a visit during your stay, both English and Spanish are spoken at this bar.
There are plenty more places to eat, drink and shop in the local town of Huercal Overa, including a lively local market on a Monday.
If you prefer to stay in, but don't want to cook, then look at our own menus and book a night in,a three course meal only costs 10 euros, and no driving or walking! Vegetarian food always available.
Going off to the beach, a packed lunch can be prepared for you at a price of 4 euros per person for sandwiches, crisps, cake and a drink, all packed into a cool box. Beach equipment is available to hire, inflateables, bat and ball, beach chairs,parasol and towels.
